Usage Rules
- •Simultaneous actions: do B while doing A (same subject)
- •Main action follows ながら
- •Concessive: ながらも = although (formal/literary)
- •Used with verbs only (stem + ながら)
- •The subject must be the same for both actions
- •Negative: ながらも = even though

Common Mistake
Using ながら with different subjects (the subject must perform both actions).
