Sentence (plain/polite) + から + result clause

Usage

Expresses a reason. The clause before から is the cause; the clause after is the effect. Can end a sentence with から alone for emphasis.

Example sentences

暑いから、窓を開けます。

Because it's hot, I'll open the window.

日本語を勉強しているから、日本に行きたいです。

Because I'm studying Japanese, I want to go to Japan.

忙しかったから、行けませんでした。

Because I was busy, I couldn't go.
