Formation
まで: continuing action up to a point / までに: deadline or limit for an action
Usage
まで marks the end point of a continuous action. までに marks a deadline by which an action must be completed.
Example sentences
9時まで勉強します。
I study until 9 o'clock.
明日までに宿題を出してください。
Please submit the homework by tomorrow.
駅まで歩きましょう。
Let's walk to the station.
金曜日までに返事をください。
Please give me a reply by Friday.
結婚するまで、貯金します。
I'll save money until I get married.
