Formation
Noun + なら / な-adjective + なら / Verb (plain) + なら / い-adjective + なら
Usage
Used when the speaker hears new information and responds based on it. Often used for suggestions or advice about a given situation.
Example sentences
日本に行くなら、秋がいいですよ。
If you're going to Japan, autumn is best.
勉強するなら、図書館がいい。
If you're going to study, the library is good.
魚なら、ここが安いです。
If it's fish (you want), this place is cheap.
安いなら、買います。
If it's cheap, I'll buy it.
時間があるなら、手伝ってください。
